Dawson Elections Commission
The Dawson Elections Commission is tasked with overseeing and administering the overall electoral and voting process for all DSU elections and referenda. The head of the commission is the Chief Returning Officer (CRO), who can name a deputy referred to as the Deputy Returning Officer (DRO). The elections commission is given a budget to manage their elections each year. If you wish to help out during elections and join the Elections Commission, feel free to reach out! The Chief Returning Officer shall:
oversee and manage the voting process’ of Elections and Referenda; Manage the elections budget; Coordinate all activities relating elections; and more. Please read DSU Constitution for more information.

The Deputy Returning Officer will be the deputy to the Chief Returning Officer. The Deputy Returning Officer will assume any task and exercise any powers delegated to them in the course of their mandate. Please read DSU Constitution for more information.
